Trick-or-treat! These babycakes are adorned with spooky ring pops for extra fun!
These Halloween treats were done for a Disney party in Richmond and resulted in publicity in my favorite, big-time, NYC cupcake blog. check it out: http://cupcakestakethecake.blogspot.com/2010/10/spooky-ring-pop-reader-halloween.html
Meet Greg (a.k.a. Cutie Newcomb). Greg loves a good night out at karaoke and his favorite tune to shout out is "Sandy." So, these birthday cupcakes were personalized with toppers that sang back to him ..."Stranded at the drive-in, branded a fool....Sandy Sandy, why-yi-yi-yi"
On a recent, quick trip home to visit my family... I was fortunate enough to spend a Sunday evening with my nieces - ages 18 and 9. We baked and decorated Halloween cupcakes for Kylie's third grade class and what a treat! Best part of the story is that I dropped three cupcakes on the floor at one point and little Kylie gets this scared look on her face and says "poor kids".. like I was really going to put those in the box. Such a fun experience! I had lunch with her at school the next day and she shared her cupcakes and was so proud of them!
These dozen mini cupcakes with strawberry butter cream frosting were decorated for a neighbor. Her mom loves bees - so I made the fondant bees to sit on top of the mini, colorful cupcakes. All edible - including the almond wings :)
This is a sample batch that I did for my friend Michelle's birthday. New chocolate cupcake recipe - some have Bailey's Irish cream frosting and some rich cream cheese frosting, with various candies and sprinkles.
